We skew towards ‘time and materials’ contracts. After extensive experience dealing with fixed-price contracts, we have seen the negative impacts they cause on project deadlines, up-front planning costs, results, and morale. We believe that anyone offering a fixed-price contract for something as ambiguous as software development is a massive red flag.
